Gidday! I’m a self-taught landscape photographer based in Te Waipounamu, Aotearoa New Zealand.
A small YouTube experiment funded my first camera. A decade on, my photographs have found homes in seven countries, which still quietly surprises me. At its core, my work is about celebrating the wild places I’m lucky to be near. I just press the shutter after all.
I’m most at home in the lower South, shaped by long coastlines, backcountry valleys, and weather that rarely behaves. While mountains tend to draw me in, I’m just as interested in forests, rivers, and overlooked corners. Light, atmosphere, and timing matter more to me than perfection, and I’m often chasing moments that I feel are fleeting rather than polished.
I’ve recently graduated from Otago University with a degree majoring in Geography, and minoring in Ecology and Environmental Management. This background has quietly informed how I approach photography with attention to process, change, and the relationships between land, climate, and time.
If this resonates, feel free to follow along on socials or get in touch via WhatsApp or email linked in my Instagram. I'm likely not too far away!
