Gidday, I'm a self-taught photographer based in Te Waipounamu of New Zealand, Aotearoa.
A small YouTube experiment funded my first camera. A decade on, my photos live in seven countries, which always cheers me up. Ultimately I do this to celebrate these wild places I’m lucky to be near; I just press the shutter after all. Under my old “Whenua Photography” banner, I’ve donated to Outward Bound, Kea Conservation Trust and helped raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation. With your support (and, I suppose, my photos), I’d love to grow that list and see tangible progress in the best way I know how. If this resonates, follow along on socials or get in touch via WhatsApp or email! I’m always keen for a chat.
Right now, I'm in my last year at Otago University, attempting a degree majoring in geography & minoring in ecology and environmental management.
